Welcome to our new India researcher!

We're delighted to announce a new addition to the Climate Parliament team, Ms Taruna Idnani, who will be joining our India team as our new Researcher.

Taruna is based in New Delhi having almost five years of work experience in the renewable energy sector. She has previously worked as a senior executive with Inox Renewables Limited, one of the fastest-growing Independent Power Producers in India. As well as a postgraduate degree in Environmental Sciences from The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Taruna has studied at the Freie University of Berlin, working in the field of energy policy research after receiving a DAAD scholarship. In her new role of researcher for the South Asian team, Taruna works to support Climate Parliament MPs to make well informed, targeted policy interventions in the fields of renewable energy and sustainable development.
