The roundtable held on 19th May was co-organised with the Energy and Economic Growth (EEG) research programme, with support from DFID. The event on 20th May was co-organised with UNIDO and supported by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DEVCO). The entire series is being co-sponsored with the Pan-African Parliament.

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire | Earlier this month (July 19, 2017), Ivorian parliamentarians from the West Africa Climate Parliament Network met with Mr Thierry Tanoh, Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energy Development. The meeting was a result of commitments made during Climate Parliament’s regional hearing in Abidjan in April 2017.
