High-level discussion on regional grids for renewables in Asia held at Wilton Park

On March 28-30, the Climate Parliament and Wilton Park co-convened a high-level dialogue on Connecting Asia at Wilton Park, Sussex, England, in collaboration with the Department for International Development (DFID) and Oxford Policy Management. The meeting focused on opportunities within Asia to increase cross-border electricity interconnections, enabling increased trading of renewable energy. The discussions addressed building renewable energy hubs across Asia and connecting those hubs through regional grids.
