Climate Parliament MPs meet with Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energy

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire | Earlier this month (July 19, 2017), Ivorian parliamentarians from the West Africa Climate Parliament Network met with Mr Thierry Tanoh, Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energy Development. The meeting was a result of commitments made during Climate Parliament’s regional hearing in Abidjan in April 2017. The purpose of the meeting was first of all to congratulate the minister on his appointment as head of this department, and for the change of name from "Ministry of Oil and Energy" to "Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energy Development."
